CURRENT INVESTMENTS

American Timberlands Company’s most recent investments include the acquisition of 20,000+ acres of timberland near Myrtle Beach, SC (June 2008), the start up of a concrete, sand and gravel mining/processing business near Charlotte, NC (December 2008), and the acquisition of 1425 acres in Brunswick County, NC in October of 2007. Between October 2007 and December 2008, ATC deployed $60 million in investment capital.

In addition to these investments, ATC manages land investments for a variety of clients including high net worth individuals and institutions that recognize ATC’s unique land investment management expertise.  Other land investments currently under management include forestland, pre-developed higher and better use land, and industrial property located in the Southeast US, representing investment values exceeding $110 million.
